Ten Lives Club cat shelter in the Southtowns is mid way into building their planned veterinary clinic. The clinic, being built within their 4,000 square foot warehouse, will provide year-round spay/neuter surgeries and low-cost vet services to local rescue groups. The clinic will service both cats and dogs. It will also provide help to qualified pet owners to keep their beloved pets and not have them surrender to a shelter due to high costs of veterinary care. Plans for their facility include an exam room, lobby, sick and contagious rooms, laundry, storage area, surgery suite, x-ray room and holding rooms for animals. During the non-profit’s eighteen years as a shelter over 32,000 cats and kittens have entered their program or received care. A Ten Lives Club supporter has generously offered a matching donation opportunity to help in the completion of this clinic.
