Celebrate Graycliff 2021 is October 21, 2021 and Requires Proof of Vaccination
(Derby, NY) Graycliff’s annual fundraiser dinner, Celebrate Graycliff, is back in person this year and scheduled for the evening of Oct. 21st at The Roycroft Inn in East Aurora. The in-person fundraising event will require proof of vaccination to attend and be accompanied by an online silent auction. The auction, which will open for bidding in advance of the event, will be available to bidders everywhere, even if they are not planning to attend. Tickets to the dinner are priced at $150/person (Graycliff Members save $25) are now available for sale at experiencegraycliff.org. The event starts at 5:30pm with a cocktail hour followed by a program and seated dinner. The Celebrate Graycliff online silent auction will close at 8:15pm that evening – you do not have to be present to bid or win, through the items themselves will be on view at the event.
Grayclliff is partnering once again with the Roycroft Inn (they provided food as part of the virtual Celebrate Graycliff 2020), chosen not only for its delicious food and stunning ambience, but because of how the site uniquely complements Graycliff’s architectural history. Roycroft Campus Tours will be available as a pre-program optional offering.
Graycliff Executive Director Anna Kaplan explains, “We are mindful that not everyone is ready to attend a sit-down dinner – this, paired with the success of last year’s virtual efforts, led us to continue the auction this year in an accessible online format.” The focus of the silent auction is experiential lots and included will be exciting and priceless offerings, such as a private tour of the iconic property followed by a three-course dinner enjoyed on their Pottery Terrace. Kaplan notes, “We have been blown away by the generosity of our cultural colleagues and local businesses and hope that their participation in the auction gives them visibility, bringing them new business and support.” There are also Graycliff-specific exclusive lots including the opportunity to play on the restored tennis court, which includes taking home a piece of the original court, and the opportunity for a private yoga session inside Graycliff’s main house. The celebrate Graycliff silent auction is now visible as a preview, with several lots still to be added – graycliff.cbo.io to view the auction.
