This committee oversees the Chamber’s scholarship program for high school seniors and ensuring the integrity of the Scholarship Fund is upheld. The committee also coordinates the Student Star Dinner held in February. This innovative program reaches out to all 3 senior highs schools and Randolph Academy-Hopevale Campus to recognize students for their strength of character based on the virtues of Character Council of WNY. Committee meeting dates and times vary depending on need.

This committee’s mission is to help attract a younger demographic to the chamber by showing college students the value a chamber has to offer as they start to establish their careers. This committee along with the chamber office will develop a working relationship with local colleges to meet with and mentor students at the campus.

This committee will be initially made up of representatives of business owners in all communities in which we directly serve, including Blasdell, Boston, Hamburg, Lackawanna and Lake View. Chamber members, Board Directors, Lackawanna and Hamburg business owners will help in the rebranding efforts of the chamber. This group will work closely with the Brand Ambassadors to help with the territory growth and will use their current connections to help all current and future members are excited about the growth. This committee will be every other month at 8:30am at the Chamber Office.
